How to order
How to order gabions or a gabion fence from Gablux
Gablux products are made to individual order. Below you will find a simple and transparent ordering process designed to prevent misunderstandings and help us complete your order efficiently.
1. Send us your design or dimensions
The customer sends us a completed design by email, including all required dimensions, or provides their own list of dimensions and the quantities of gabion baskets required.
The more accurate the information, the faster and more precise the quotation will be.
2. Cut-outs for letterboxes, intercoms and technical components
Where cut-outs are required for letterboxes, intercoms or other technical components, the customer must provide drawings showing the exact dimensions and position of each cut-out.
Without precise information, we may be unable to manufacture the cut-outs or the order may be delayed.
3. Through-the-wall letterboxes
If a through-the-wall letterbox is to be incorporated, the customer must deliver it to the Gablux premises after accepting the quotation and before production begins.
This is necessary to ensure that the letterbox is fitted precisely into the gabion structure.
4. Quotation approval and payment
Once the quotation has been accepted, the customer provides the required billing details. We then issue a pro forma invoice, on the basis of which a deposit equal to 35% of the order value must be paid.
Receipt of this payment in the Gablux bank account constitutes acceptance of the quotation and payment terms and the order is then released for production.
The order date is the date on which the payment is credited to the company bank account.
5. Production
Once the payment has been received, the order enters production and is manufactured according to the agreed specification.
6. Arranging delivery or collection
As the order approaches completion, the person responsible for deliveries and collections at Gablux will contact the customer to arrange a suitable date.
The production completion date is not the same as the delivery date. During the busiest part of the season, delivery may take place up to approximately 10 days after production has been completed.
For personal collection, a Gablux representative will agree a specific collection date and time with the customer.
7. Final payment
Please note that the outstanding balance for the ordered goods must always be paid no later than upon delivery or at the time of personal collection (cash or confirmation of bank transfer).
